pubblichiamo qui, come promesso, tutti i lavori che ci sono arrivati in adesione al nostro progetto “capitani coraggiosi”, senza alcuna selezione o modifica –
ringraziamo tutte le donne che hanno partecipato -
osservando i lavori abbiamo rilevato una costante: la contestualizzazione della cultura maschilista e della sua violenza nell’ambito dell’istituzione o delle istituzioni, come chiedeva il progetto, nella maggior parte dei casi è poco rintracciabile -
ci siamo interrogate lungamente sul perché le risposte ricevute non abbiano corrisposto alle nostre attese, sottraendo a questo progetto quella che immaginavamo essere la sua opportunità -
da tutto questo emerge quanto sia scabrosa e complessa questa tematica, facile da trattare solo in apparenza ed in superficie, in discorsi generici, in realtà problematica ed articolata -
si comprende, in generale, quanto sia difficile vedere la violenza e dirla, riconoscerla a noi stesse e mostrarla all’esterno -
non è escluso, probabilmente, anche il disagio di poter essere riconosciute, individuate -
conseguenza è l’evidente difficoltà a modificare uno status quo, in cui convivono tanti aspetti differenti e che vede presenze e ruoli che dovrebbero essere analizzati e messi in discussione da molti punti di vista, riponendo luoghi comuni e riprovazioni scontate -
sarebbe fecondo, interessante e bello, secondo noi, poterne parlare, magari in un incontro on line, con chi di noi è interessata a farlo, per costruire un percorso che ci denudi, intimo, personale, che ci consenta di sensibilizzarci al riconoscimento di violenze anche non immediatamente leggibili, sotterranee e simboliche -
comunque porteremo avanti il progetto “capitani coraggiosi” facendoci carico di creare storie, struttura e contenitore della nostra pubblicazione, scegliendo i lavori che ci sembrano più pertinenti alle intenzioni -
desideriamo ancora una pubblicazione che, in qualche modo, conservi un intento critico -
in attesa delle vostre risposte, sperando in scambi futuri, un caro saluto a tutte,-

captains courageous
as promised, here are all the works we received for our project “captains courageous”, without any selection or alteration – we thank all the women who took part -
watching the works we noticed a constant: the contextualisation of male chauvinist culture and of its violence in the field of institution, as the project asked, is not very traceable in most cases –
we extensively wondered why the response we received did not correspond to what we anticipated, taking away from this project what we considered being its great opportunity –
what came to light from all this is how thorny and complex this matter is, easy to talk about on the surface, in generic conversations, but actually articulate and complicated –
we understood how difficult it is to see violence and to tell it, acknowledge it to ourselves and show it outwards - the discomfort of possibly being recognised is also to take into account – the consequence is the blatant difficulty to change a status quo where so many different aspects coexist and which contemplates roles that should be analised and challenged from many prospectives, putting aside many cliches -
for us, it would be prolific, interesting and beautiful to be able to talk about it together, maybe in an online meeting with whoever of us is interested in doing so, to build a path that is intimate, personal, that lets us become more aware of the kind of violence that is not immediately recognisable, hidden and symbolic -
however, we are still continuing the project “captains courageous” taking it upon ourselves to create stories, structure and shape of our publication, selecting the works we see most fitting to our intentions -
we still wish to create a publication that somehow keeps a critical intent -
